But since I'm in my last year of my diploma, and the next semester would be my last semester as well, I've lots of preparations to do for next semester's animation project. Whats more, its individual, so if I don't get my ass up early for this I really will have no hair at the end of the year. <.< Aaaanyway, I'm already preparing my story and character designs for the animation, and some research for the character and environment design, so hopefully things go well. REVENGE TIME. Ohhh I'm so going to have fun with the story if the lecturers are not restricting us to some sort of stimulus of the sort.
Putting stressful university life aside, I've been putting myself into some sort of anime-relay nights these few days. Finished watching Soul Eater, Macross Zero and Nodame Cantabile Paris Chapter in a row (With Nodame Cantabile watched twice, gyahahaha). I don't understand a thing about classical music except the fact that I know the famous figures like Mozart and Beethoven and I'm music blind, but the story was really soothing and touching. Maybe its the fact that Nodame isn't your typical ideal sexy shoujo and the love storyline doesn't go all mushy mushy tot eh extent kids are not allowed to watch it, I guess? I really like how Ninomiya-sensei could think of such an amazing story about classical music and all the themes are portrayed so well in the anime; music and the relationship between Chiaki and Nodame. I used to hate how annoying Nodame sound was in Nodame Cantabile but after watching and repeating it for several times I really like Tomokazu Seki and er... the voice after behind Nodame. Both of them worked together on the anime Groove Adventure Rave and taking on the lead roles, and to think that they would come back and work together again on challenging yet hilarious characters, its just refreshing. I officially love Tomokazu-san now <3
Talking about doing creative stuff, well eh... Have been working on one drawing which was done when I first arrived in KL. As usual, a vertical A4 size drawing packed full with characters. Done only 3 out of 6. Still trying to get used to tablet painting, and its kinda fun I must say. I'm supposed to be on a self-decide intensive training of using tablet to draw directly on the computer, but uggggghhhhh. Even with the user-friendly SAI I'm still enjoying traditional drawing more than digital drawing. I just love the feeling of being able to touch your drawings and the texture of the paper. Guuhhh.
Luck to meeeeeee.
